The realms of film and fiction blur in Manhattan's lovely historic Carnegie Hill neighborhood where J.D. Salinger's home sits near Truman Capote's apartment. We'll also see where Madeline Kahn, Marlene Dietrich, Christopher Reeve, and Woody Allen lived. We'll visit scenes from movies such as Ghost Town, Working Girl, and The Fisher King. We'll visit the Central Park's majestic ecological sanctuary, the Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis Reservoir where Dustin Hoffman ran at the beginning and end of Marathon Man. Soak up Manhattan's calmest and loveliest neighborhood while moving between the Metropolitan and Guggenheim Museums. Robust art lovers can take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to visit the Metropolitan Museum before the tour, and then visit the Guggenheim Museum at the end of the tour. 5th and Park walking tour can be the center of your New York City art and architecture day!

On our 1.5 mile walk, you'll have a chance to grab a snack or beverage at the only Park Avenue bodega in Carnegie Hill (you'll pay for what you want), and have one restroom break opportunity near the end of the tour at the Church of Heavenly Rest, where Gloria Swanson's ashes are interred.
