Description

Taking gorgeous photos in low light without resorting to harsh flash photography is an art, but it’s an art that you can perfect with the after dark Photo Safari in New York City. Primarily using the famous Times Square, you’ll learn how to use low light to your advantage in photography. You’ll discover the wonders of long exposure, flash and fill flash – and you’ll even learn how to take a beautiful photo at night without a flash: just a tripod and a little know-how. This Photo Safari requires participants to bring a tripod, and using a Digital SLR camera is advisable. It is also recommended that you take the Intermediate Nuts and Bolts Photo Safari prior to attending this tour, as after dark photography is nest suited to those who already have a good understanding of F-stop, shutter speeds and ISO relationships. Using New York as a back-drop, you’ll be tutored by hands-on, experienced experts in small groups. You’ll walk, explore the city, and all the while you’ll be improving your composition, lighting and scouting skills.
