Visits Millionaire’s Row and discover the Gilded Age mansions that still stand today, along with the works of architecture lost to time. This tour will resurrect some of the magnificent mansions that were destroyed, bringing those glamorous abodes back to life with stunning historical images and scintillating stories of the affairs that took place inside. Take in outrageous stories of Gilded Age wealth, architecture, and art on Fifth Avenue while strolling along the very Avenue where they happened. A lot of the Gilded Age mansions on Fifth avenue are now used as private residences, private clubs or institutions and are therefore not accessible to the public. We will however have the opportunity to enter two of those mansions on the tour! This tour is almost entirely outdoors and we will be walking around 1.3 miles. We start the tour at the General Sherman Statue, on 5th Ave between 59th and 60th St., and end by the Met Museum, on 5th ave and 80th St.Includes
